OUBLIETTE.NU HAS FINALLY BEEN REVAMPED. It is still the 11th of November according to the time settings of this update log’s script, and in any case, THE DAY ISN’T OVER IF IT’S STILL NIGHT AND YOU HAVEN’T SLEPT YET. (Yes, taking pretty dates really srsly; you have no idea how much it motivated me.)

Coherent log entry (also, accursed link buttons) later. Now: sleep.

Claymore Collective, Awakening, The Stormwind Gallery — stormwind.org will expire very soon, and won’t be renewed. In relation to other subjects, Claymore does not feel big enough in my heart to warrant a domain of its own, combined with the fact that there are no concrete plans for more Claymore shrines anytime soon. The collective can now be found at the new subdomain claymore.oubliette.nu, with corresponding changes to the sites’ URLs. All calls to the expiring domain will be redirected effective immediately. If you have linked to one of these sites, I ask you to please update your links.

Psst, knowing that I’ll have some edits to make around the network as soon as the domain expires, I begrudgingly sat down two weeks ago and somehow slapped together a new layout for the collective within like a day in a surprising rush of creativity. It’s 90% done, but has been put on hold in favour of the oubliette.nu revamp, which has suffered a setback of four weeks due to travelling and illnesses. >:( In any case, I’m saying: Stuff is going on behind the scenes!

Alas, last year’s summer vacation didn’t yield any site productivity as it ended up being invested in new experiences outdoor and abroad. This year’s vacation hasn’t produced anything visible just yet, but oubliette.nu’s long-overdue revamp is well underway! I’ll need some more quiet weekends, but am fairly positive it’ll launch this year.

On that note, Small Web September, an event hosted in a young Dreamwidth community, is currently underway if anyone is looking for like-minded folks to work on sites with!

I intend to take some weeks of creative vacation from work again this summer. Let’s see whether anything site-related will come of it! For now, just something small:

Valkyrie — Updated the Context page with information on the recent port. Added two pieces of fanart.

Valkyrie — Some additions:

• Replaced over half of the official art in the gallery with very high-resolution images, courtesy of legendofdragoon.org. Added a world map for the heck of it. (It’s nice to look at for lore reasons and when reading fanfiction.) If you’ve browsed the gallery recently, you may have to right click the images and reload them manually to see the new file.
• Added one last cutscene image to the gallery, albeit in lower resolution because I wasn’t quick enough to screenshot it back then.
• Added the Fanfiction page AT LONG LAST.

After slightly more than seven years later its release, Valkyrie is finally truly complete!!

The fanfiction page was surprisingly fun to draw up once I actually sat down and did it. With various people creating fanfic recommendation pages on their own site recently, I’m tempted to set up more of these, especially as I don’t enjoy digging through my bookmarks on AO3 itself, and ff.net is oooold.
