Claymore Collective, Awakening, The Stormwind Gallery — stormwind.org will expire very soon, and won’t be renewed. In relation to other subjects, Claymore does not feel big enough in my heart to warrant a domain of its own, combined with the fact that there are no concrete plans for more Claymore shrines anytime soon. The collective can now be found at the new subdomain claymore.oubliette.nu, with corresponding changes to the sites’ URLs. All calls to the expiring domain will be redirected effective immediately. If you have linked to one of these sites, I ask you to please update your links.

Psst, knowing that I’ll have some edits to make around the network as soon as the domain expires, I begrudgingly sat down two weeks ago and somehow slapped together a new layout for the collective within like a day in a surprising rush of creativity. It’s 90% done, but has been put on hold in favour of the oubliette.nu revamp, which has suffered a setback of four weeks due to travelling and illnesses. >:( In any case, I’m saying: Stuff is going on behind the scenes!

All shrines have undergone light maintenance:

• Footer text was adjusted to reflect the new network name.
• Definitions for “shrine” and manga demographics were added.
• Links were updated and dead links were removed or replaced.
• The contrast of select elements was adjusted (notably font colours on Setting Sun and Jamais Plus and the background on Sway).
• Minor additions were made to link lists.
• Some larger images were converted.
• Minor typographical elements were converted (e.g. typewriter apostrophes).

Valkyrie and Waterbound were excluded from thorough link list updates.

All shrines around the network have had minor fixes and code updates (nothing plainly visible). Some display issues at Waterbound were found and have been fixed.

Awakening, Stormwind Gallery, Stormwind, Setting Sun, Sway, In Another Dream — Galleries for all these sites have been updated to fancyBox3 for better interface and zoom functionality. I'll think some more about what to do with the galleries on image-heavy shrines that rely on captions; fancyBox3 differs from fancyBox2 in that regard and I'm not convinced it'd be better to upgrade.

Awakening — This shrine has received a major revamp, entirely inspired by the gorgeous header Camy made for me as part of Amassment's Secret Santa 2016. I had initially wished for a header for the gallery, as the narrow content width of the previous layout was completely unsuitable for a gallery of this size, but I was so impressed with what Camy had made that I decided to go ahead and use it for the shrine as well, since it was in urgent need of a facelift too.

With the help of scripts I have picked up since making this shrine in 2015, 40 images have been added to enhance the experience and to give a better visual impression of Claymore and its warriors! I have also gone over the text with a fine-tooth comb: A large part of it has received slight revisions for better phrasing and structuring; some new snippets and links have been added as well. The old button set has been replaced. With this revamp, I finally feel that the shrine has gained an identity of its own, both as a one page shrine as well as a creation that can be proudly displayed next to my other shrines.

The individual page at the network has been updated with revamp notes.

Stormwind Gallery — The gallery has received a complete revamp to match that of the shrine. Enjoy the images in a wider space, sorted by episode, and with enhanced functionality due to the new script! Navigating between the characters has become less of a hassle too.

Stormwind — Launched my Claymore collective! Awakening has been moved there and updated with lovely link buttons by Samantha! The Gallery has been detached and completely revamped, as the half-hearted product from before bothered me with its inconsistencies and incompleteness. It is now a dedicated gallery, not just a side product of my TCG activities.

Things that have changed: All screencaps are new, of consistent quality and size, saved in JPEG format and without black borders. Many previous character galleries have doubled in size. Many new characters have been added.
